This book is the second in Mojo, Louisana Mystery Series and I loved it. I had read the first book which helps a bit in reading the second as it does reference some things from it.Gloria Dalton, decides to move to Mojo to get a fresh start on life. Little did she realize that her first day in her office would be the start of a string of incidents, starting with a death! We soon realize that Gloria is not who she seems to be and she has ties to the new police chief, Zane Riley--who does not know who she really is.After a few more 'coincidents' that happen around/to Gloria she has to make a big decision of if she wants to stay in town or leave--though that decision may already be made for her when she is a suspect in a murder. This is a cute, quirky, romantic mystery to sum it up. Yes, even though the story line can be a tad of a stretch, I did find myself enjoying the characters. I wish there was a third book in the series but, unfortunately this is not. Loved it! Murder Mystery. Great twist to the romance part. Heroine is in the Witness Protection Program, and runs into high school boyfriend who is the new Chief of Police. But he doesn't recognize her. (Romance is steamy)This is book 2, and although not reading book 1 didn't hinder this story, there were some details about the town that I think would be clearer if I had read book 1. Happy Reading, Frankie
Do You like book Finding Your Mojo (2006)?
This was a cute story but the obsession with Zane was a bit pathetic!! Just a bit over the top!!
