About book Fifty Shades Of Mr Darcy: A Parody (2012)
I wish there was a "-four stars" to rate this piece of cr*p! Absolutely disgusting. This novel only copies the major scenes of Fifthy Shades of Grey exchanging the names Ana and Christian for Elizabeth and Darcy. Also, it does not pay attention to the fact that nipple clamps weren´t avaliable in the XIX Century... Not to mention the "sexy" lines such as "You are mine to punish and humble you, Elizabeth". I am sorry, but it takes much more to be called a "parody". Or a "novel". I was given this as a present for Christmas by family members who seem to think they're funny, and I can honestly say that it was truly and completely awful. For one, it seemed to try to take the mick out of the 'Fifty Shades' series which I am perfectly happy with because that is a poorly written series which I loathe anyway, but in doing so it just seemed to insult Pride and Prejudice in the same theme.As a vivid fan of Jane Austen's works I can say that I have been truly insulted by this work. I can't even call it literature because it was nothing but the humour of a 13 year old school boy mashed in with the works of a good book and a bad book to create something which is, on the whole, something which I feel sorry for my family for even wasting money on.
