A great book that breaks down the stages of Masculinity and how the ancient ways of initiation is still needed even more so today because this is The Fatherless Generation. Masculinity is bestowed and thank God for this book that helps boys open their eyes that they need Mentors and Abba to help them become the Men that GOD intended them to be. Read Wild at Heart before you read this book though. Thank you John Eldredge! Read this as a part of a small group at church...really liked the topics we discussed from the book. Works better with the video curriculum from the author if doing it in a group. If you've already read "the way of the wild heart" don't spend more money for this...the two books, both by the same author are pretty much the same. "Wild at Heart" however, is his best book. He talks about the 5 stages of masculine initiation, each of which find a solid biblical basis. Great Book!!
