Thoroughly enjoyed the recent addition to the fatal series. It is great to see the progression of Sam and Nick and the other characters. I like that Marie tries to make this book as believable pertaining to the police aspect and the procedure of a everyday police work. I love the mixture of the adventure suspense all rapt into one. Though the subject matter was dark these are things that unfortunately happen in real life and I belief Ms. force handled the matter quite well. Oh, I missed Nick and Sam sooo much!! I just love Marie's writing! Every book she writes is so good... and the characters are lovable and as real as they can be. I'm a compulsive reader and a romantic at heart, so you can say I have lots of book boyfriends. But most of them are the alpha male kind that we rarely see in real life so this is why I can honestly say that Nick is one of the few characters that can be real life husband material!!!! He's perfect! And I also must say that I totally love Sam! She's a damn good badass. I love their relationship.The other characters are awesome too. They are like a big-giant-humongous family. And I love to know them more in every book. Keep writing Marie!!! PS. Gonzo, I prayed for you... twice
