There is always humor in Robyn's books so when you pick one up you know that you're probably going to pi** yourself laughing and you're gonna have a grand ole' time with each other characters. Two of my favorite supernatural characters of all time have been Charley Davidson of the Darynda Jones nTH Grave on the.... series and Betsy the Vampire Queen of the MaryJanice Davidson Undead and... series. Well the protagonist of this unbelievably entertaining series by Robyn Peterman is and incredible mix of the two combining high fashion sense of Betsy with the in-your-face chutzpa of Charley. Our heroine is the product of a mating between a psychotic Demon (the Brother of Satan, no less) and his abused, deranged and equally psychotic wife. This much alone should be enough to get you to read the book but if it's not enough let me just toss in that the cast of characters includes a Guardian Angel with a potty mouth who is an Oprah look alike and a 2000 year old Fairy warrior who is fashion sense challenged and bear a strong resemblenc to a former Governor of California. Oh and a drop dead handome 522 year old Vampyre Prince. Give it a read and you won't be able to put it down this one I read in 2 nights staying up way past my normal bedtime to get it done.
