About book Falling Off The Face Of The Earth (2011)

I have to admit that I almost started to put this book down somewhere in the middle of it as it just seemed to meander around a bit with no direction. But so glad that I stuck it out until the end. I loved how all the pieces came together - with a little bit of pain and loss and love James finds his place in life. Not necessarily where he thought he would be, but that's what life always throws your way. Thought-provoking and ultimately satisfying. This is not erotica in any way; there is very little sex and it takes Forever for the main characters to get together. Satisfying. The Last Day of Summer is the next book in the series, though I read it first and preferred it. I also enjoyed Latakia more than this one, but Falling off the Face of the Earth is also satisfying. I just wanted James/Jimmy to pull himself together sooner. As an aside, I love that they picked a magnolia flower for the cover, so meaningful in the book and nice not to be beaten over the head with naked hunks in m/m fiction.
