I was given this book for an honest review. I'll start off by saying that overall I did enjoy this book. Ivy and Jon are two people with dark pasts who end up falling in love. Their story was a bit fast paced, It felt like they fell in live too fast without really knowing each other. At times I didn't really feel a connection with the characters and the ending felt a bit rushed. I did however enjoy the dual point of view in which the book was written. I wouldn't say this book made my top favorite list but it was enjoyable enough that I was able to finish it. Here's a guy with such a good heart who deserves good things in life after he looses his mom to cancer and his dad was never in his life. That's why I'm so glad he met Ivy. Ivy has a rough past and can't remember what happened before or a little after the car accident that killed her ex boyfriend. After Jon rescues her from his roof and they spend time with each other they realize that they are actually helping each other. Ivy helps Jon open his heart more and helps him realize that he is a good person with a good heart and that he can do anything he puts his mind together. Jon helps Ivy by sticking with her and loving her even when she isn't sure if she killed her ex. I really loved this story and could read about these two everyday. I cannot wait to read more books by Author Beth Hyland.
This is a sweet and easy read. The story moved a bit slow for me but all in all it is a good book.
