After reading the first 17% of this book, I wasn't even sure if I was going to be able to finish it. It was brutal being in the head of someone who was getting bullied and humiliated at every turn. I took a night off, then decided I would just skim-read the rest of it for book club. Turns out, I didn't need to. I ended up reading every word. This isn't the kind of novel I particularly enjoy (I NEED HUMOR!) but I have a lot of respect for this author and book. Simply beautiful. A story about bullying, heartbreaking really, all the stuff Ashley had to endure. I only wish we had a more clear view of her future, but at the same time I understand why it ends like that, not every story finishes with a happy ending, sometimes we have to hope for better.Love the way it was written. And I really hope to read more works from this wonderful writer.Thank you for sharing your words with us readers Aimee Salter!
