It was too short to get a good feel on characters. I don't have trouble with insta love but I just wasn't feeling it here. The premises was good but delivery not so much. Example: Ethan hears his mate calling him..."I’m dying. My life force is draining away. Come to me". That is the lamest and unrealistic request I have ever heard. Might just be me but let's just say I almost DNF the book from that one line. I won't be reading any more of the series. Ethan Hale is a vampire who is fighting along Vampire Coalition in order to protect human from fallen vampire. And, he's still looking for his mate.Brianna Cole is dying from a rare case of leukemia without knowing that she is sick because she is not mated by her vampire yet. One of the fallen already stalked her.The story peaked my interests but slowly my interest disappear as I read towards its end.But, don't let my review fools you. Try and read it first.
