This book was a sweet romance about a relationship between two damaged young men. It went beyond a typical m/m romance to became a bit of a family story dealing with not only the relationship between the two MCs but Ethan's relationships with his parents and his younger brother as well as others in his town, including those who'd hurt him. The story was well-written and had a HFN or HEA depending on how you are able to see the years going for them. For a very brief time I admit that I was a bit concerned that it might not end happily considering the past tense used in the title (i.e. Ethan Who LOVED Carter). I am glad to have been wrong about that. Cosa posso dire di questo romanzo?L'ho aspettato da quando ho visto che stavano per pubblicarlo. Mi incuriosiva e allo stesso tempo lo temevo. Ero curiosa perché è difficile parlare della Sindrome di Tourrette e di ciò che comporta, come anche della TBI. Lo temevo perché sono una persona molto emotiva e quindi, anche solo leggendo di questi problemi o del comportamento di alcune persone davanti a qualcuno che li presenta, mi commuovo facilmente, tanto da piangere anche in pubblico (se sto leggendo sul tablet).Eppure, sono felice di aver letto questo libro perché mi sono innamorata di Ethan (che "ha" la TBI) e di Carter (Sindrome di Tourrette).L'autrice è stata veramente bravissima a descrivere la nascita e l'evoluzione del loro rapporto, di come la gente reagiva a loro e a ciò che si portano sulle spalle da tutta una vita.Ho adorato i momenti dolci, temuto quelli tristi e ridacchiato (l'ho letto in piena notte) in quelli divertenti.Davvero, è impossibile non amarli e non lottare con loro mentre affrontano i loro problemi cercando di dare sempre il massimo per conquistare l'amore che provano l'uno per l'altro.Cinque stelline con lode.
