About book El Nao De Brown (2012)

3 stars? 4 stars? I think the most accurate rating for this book would be 3.5 stars. But, man! It could've been 5 stars. I was reading this, engrossed in it, loving every second of it. The characters are real, the story is real, and the fictitious "Ichi" cartoon that Glyn Dillon created seemed so awesome that I actually Googled it to see how I could get my hands on watching the thing. The art is great. Understated watercolors mixed in with a style that a reviewer on a different website called a mixture between Mobius and Miyazaki. It was great. ...and then I got to the end. The beauty of the story up until the end was that these events were pretty rife with emotional undercurrents and the story was being shown to the reader and not spelled out. At a certain point, that stopped happening and it was all explained and the moral was showed to me and then the book was over. Here's your after school special message. Thank you for reading. So, read the first part of this story and love every damn minute of it. It's definitely 5 stars. You'll see the moment when it comes, when the book shifts down to a 3 star book. Even then, it's really better than 90% of the comics available to us.

Do You like book El Nao De Brown (2012)?

Beautifully drawn but I was not as crazy about the story. It's good but left me some how 'un-moved'.

I liked the art and some components of the story but I really didn't like the overall story... :-/
