I love Lucy's relationship with the guys on the painting crew- Troy, Luke, Emmanuel, Jake, and Alex. Her and Alex are fun. I was sad to see what it took to start Lucy's emotional growth, but it was enjoyable watching her her figure out who she was. Lucy and Justin were so alike from the start yet she thought they were different. I really enjoyed the fast-pace of the story and the depth of emotion. I'm looking forward to see what happens next in Perfectly Messy. I randomly bought Effortless With You on my Kindle since it was cheap and had great reviews. I didn't find it as amazing as a lot of people who reviewed it did, but it was an enjoyable and fast paced read.I thought it would be a very superficial book about summer, boys and friends, but it was much deeper than that. It delt with depression, bullying, family drama, cheating, love, true friendship and helping others, which brought something great to the book. Some parts of the book was just very sad and kind of made me depressed too, but the good parts weighed up for it. Lucy's friendships with Justin, Alex and Matt and how she grew as a person at the end of the book, were so good to read about.I'd recommend this book to anyone who's out after a quick contemporary read, but with some more depth to it :)
