I was about 5 chapters into this one when I realized there was a #1! I'm so glad I stopped it and went and read #1--a lot of things were much clearer. Most of it is very, very good and fast moving. On the other hand, there are large sections of repetitive, unpleasant descriptions of mass death and destruction. Also, the ending is not satisfying. These 2 problems are the only things preventing me from giving it a higher rating. If you like time-travel paradoxes, you do need to read this series! I think I will give the next one a try: the strengths do outweigh the problems so far. Audiobook Review3 1/2 StarsIf you don't know what "The Breach" is, go back and start reading this series at book #1. Travis Chase and Page Campbell continue their quest to head off Armageddon, chaos and catastrophe in this sci-fi thriller. They're only successful in one of those. By this point in the series, I started developing symptoms of whiplash from time/space conflicts. But it didn't stop me from immediately moving on to the third book in this series "Deep Sky."
