Sarah is a successful marketing executive in New York, but she's ready for a change. She decides to move to Virginia with her husband, Josh, but then questions leaving New York. This book is all about coming to terms with her decision at the same time as dealing with some unexpected turns of fate. Her best friend from New York is suddenly in need of some support and Sarah goes back to help her and in the process realizes that leaving New York really was the right thing to do. I liked this book well enough, but it was just "OK". Not very memorable. I did like reading how things were working out for the best. I received this book as a First Reads winner on Goodreads. (Heavy Sigh) I found this book to be ok. I wasn't voraciously turning the pages waiting to find out what would happen. I think it is a great beach read as you don't have to think. The story has some nice characters who I think women may relate to. The book has a message about friendship but a lot of books cover this theme so it is not unique. I did not get the ladybug references either. If you are looking for a quick, mindless read pick this up, if you are looking for substance and the need to keep finding out what happens, find another read.
