I don't know. Leave a girl in jail and forget about her and you never hear the end of it. People are funny that way.I absolutely love this author and this book was no exception. As always, the characters are all completely bonkers and a joy to read about. The book is well written and a good length of story. Perfect for anyone who likes a dose of humour in their romance novels. I grinned and giggled all the way through it. I can't wait for the next book. I really loved the earlier books in the Dragon Kin series when the focus of the books was the relationship between the characters. In book 7, the focus of the book was on the people who hate the "Abominations" and forging alliances to protect them.The romance between Celyn and She Of The Long Name was in the background and not the focus of the book. Honestly it was a bit ridiculous how many characters were in the book.Everyone from the previous 6 books showed up and they had more pages than Celyn and what's her name did (and they were the main couple!) A lot of plot development with all of the little kids from the previous matings of dragons and humans. The book started off slow, but once the heroine's sister was added to the mix things got much funnier."Your travel cow is pathetic"Honestly, this book felt like filler. It's worth reading eventually but no rush. The romance was disappointing.
There hasn't been a book in this series yet that I haven't loved. This one is no exception.
