About book Double Digit (2014)

Just finished...!!!Okay, where I should start, from the jealous John of Digit's dorm's RA up to the death of Jonas Furnis?Yes, Farrah Higgins is finally coming clean about her true self. She's well known as Digit now with a new roommate named Tiki in MIT. Besides, she's not the only brainiac in 10 miles radius, in MIT you couldn't throw a paper airplane without hitting the genius around here. So, it is obvious that Digit finally found her place, she has a boyfriend who used to be FBI and working for Terror Task Force in New York and has promised her to visit for some weekends, she also happens to stumble to the Three Stooges who without any intention teach her how to do hacking. Well, perfect college life experience? Not really.Because of Tiki's broken heart, Digit forced to create a program so she could hack the Facebook account of Tiki's ex-boyfriend Howard. That's it and once again without intention, Digit uses the program to hack Department of Defense just for the document, she has been guaranteed to access, but the only thing she should do is waiting. Unfortunately, there is a Toga Party she should attend and she doesn't have time to wait, so hacking anyway, no crime intention just time difference. That's the mess is started. Jonas Furnis found out she could hack DoD and became a bit obsessed to recruit her. While, John's father also think the same way, that Digit has gift, that could be dangerous if she works for the wrong side. Once again, there are some code cracking and sweating and hugging. Well, though I'm thinking the code cracking is not really fascinating, you don't need to be a genius or gifted to do that, just need someone who a bit good with number, perhaps if Digit could just do it without writing them on paper, just like she's imagining them on her head, perhaps it's kinda cool, but what should I say, as a reader we always expect more?Anyway, in the end everything is good, though the trial is not that interesting either, because I've guessed that somehow, Digit will be forced (a bit blackmailed) to work for CIA, because of her stupidity of being exposed. Still, I love the final scene with John. Well, I don't know I always love reading a story of a jealous boyfriend though in real life, not that fascinating, frustrating is the right word. So, I could say. I love the story. Just a perfect reading for weekend... but weekend is not even started yet. It means I have to find something new to read.e Let's say 3.5. Same as with the first book, if I think about it too much, the rating goes down, but this one had a few more problems that I can't ignore, hence the 3.5 instead of 4. That being said, it was still a fun, fast read, and when/if they come out with another book in the series, I'll gladly pick it up and read it. I find Digit to be a fun, smart, flawed character, and that alone is worth reading.
