For starters, rehashing ideas from other, more popular, young adult fiction *coughs* ( Harry Potter), does not work for every book. Please share the memo.... The constant repetition in this book drove me CRAZY. The main character literally repeats the same facts every 5 min. "Blah, Blah, this hairbrush I picked up." "Blah, Blah, the guilt." "I should've minded my own business." "Found things for money, but it's better than Mickey D's"... Half the book is just that. Then she alternates between usuing actual names to titles every other sentence. First it's Mom, then it's Grace Frost. Sometimes it's the Spartan, then it's Logan. It's kind of all over the place. These books are some of the best I have ever read. I can't put them down. I love the relationships that are between the characters and that only grows more and more as the story goes on. Logan is an awesome bad boy and is totally H.O.T. The language is not that bad and that is a major for me. It only makes this even more of a great read. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves a good read. Great job Jennifer Estep!!
