About book Don't Put Me In, Coach: My Incredible NCAA Journey From The End Of The Bench To The End Of The Bench (2012)
I liked the behind the scenes stories. Titus had the guts to say things that his teammates obviously wouldn't want us to know. I also enjoyed the fact that he didn't spend a lot of time rehashing games. That's my biggest problem with sports books. I know what happened in the games but I love hearing the before and after parts. Some of his jokes are a little too junior varsity for my taste but hey, I'm reading a book written by a twenty-something punk kid. What did I expect? To be more specific, I would give this 3.5 stars. It was certainly funny and very similar to the blog he is so famous for. I really enjoyed the last half of the book and though it was heartfelt, but still funny and interesting. The first half of the book made me wonder if this guy was really the funny, playful, prankster we met on his blog, or just a jerk. I think if I didn't question his jerkiness in the first half I would rank it much higher.Overall, a very quick, easy read that was mostly enjoyable. If you read the Club Trill blog it's worth the read.

Absolutely hilarious. Love the inside look at college athletics and the writing style of Titus.

Great story that parallels mine, but I wasn't as funny.
