This was a sweet read with a lovely Swiss doctor and a very ordinary but caring English girl. They meet when Dr Armand Frederic is asked to treat Anthea Wellis for an unnamed illness (probably a spot of TB) and Diana is employed to be her companion on the trip to Switzerland.Anthea is a problem from the first, and she complicates matters for Diana with her infatuation for the very handsome son of the innkeeper where they are staying. But it is a lovely socialite friend of the Doctors that causes most heartburnings for Diana.Like most of this authors books, the romance is very low key but rather sweet and the doctor is yummy. A satisfying ending to the main romance but also the secondary romances.
