Not a great read. The author was trying too hard to be funny and she just didn't pull it off. There are lots of examples out there where the book is very funny and the reader loves the main character. The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger is a good example.In this book, I wanted to "Ditch" the main character, Justina, right at the very beginning of the book. This girl comes off as whiney, annoying and very, very, very, very stupid. So much so, that you have to wonder what the hero of the book, Ian, sees in her. What teenage girl in this day and age would allow her mother to pick out her entire prom outfit. A dress that wasn't even considered high fashion in the '80s when it first came out, and then go about matching shoes, corsage, and nail polish to the same color as the dress. I was so bored that I started skimming the book just to get to end. Don't waste your time on this one, there are other authors you can read that write this type of story much better. Honestly, this is not my kind of book. I thought Justina was a very poorly written character, and extremely cliched. She jumped to conclusions too much, and I didn't like how she was introduced as a "girl who wore all black", yet she was a kissing machine. However, I like how each story was related to a stain on her dress, that was creative. I would recommend to people who like these kinds of books
