i was attracted to this read for its title and im glad i did. well developed story and characters. i didnt know it was a series and cant wait to read the others. i have a degree in forensic psych and this book really grabbed my attention. very descriptive where it needs to be and also suspenseful. will wrench your heart especially if you have kids. it was clever to start and end each chapter with a riddle for it plays a grand part to the plot. a total must read! I was really disappointed in this book. The story and characters were good, but I couldn't get over all of the spelling errors and typos. I lost count somewhere around 20..."he got into his cat" or using ilk instead of like. I probably would have given this 3 starts, but the editing matters and this didn't have any. There were also some plot issues that lead to confusing moments and dropped story lines that also should have been caught by editing. I do like this author though and if she ever needs a beta reader I am available.
