Loved the "letters" that Wright wrote in the book. Very creative and fun to read. He managed to take on different characters in the book and write a letter as they would write it. No small task, I assume.Good story. I really was worried that he wasn't going to leave me with a happy ending, however, so I am grateful that he did.I loved the banter between the 2 young main characters, Rachel and Noah. The way they met was a great read. I want an A&P in my life, good character development there. I had enjoyed the Wednesday Letters, by Jason Wright, and so I picked this one up. I like the fact that the author can put such simple ideas into a book and make us say, "I should have thought to do that!" Things I liked:1- LOVED the idea of compiling congratulatory and advice letters from friends and loved ones for a new bride and groom. I'm hoping to do this for my daughter's upcoming wedding.2- Nothing offensive in the book.3- Likable characters.4- The family we met in the Wednesday Letters continued on.5- The characters are not perfect, they have their flaws and troubles.6- Favorite quote: "Matthew, love your wife. Love her like she's the only one you'll ever have. And she will be."Things I didn't like:1- There should have been a page at the beginning outlining the recurring characters and their relationship to each other. It took me too long to remember. I think it would be very confusing to someone who had not read the first book - I had, and I was confused. 2- I felt that the appearance of the father at the end was out of place. Rachel had just been told that he had been killed by her mother years ago, and then all of a sudden he shows up. That just felt wrong. With all of the technology out there today, one of them would have done a few internet searches...I'm just saying...All in all, I still enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
