This book was beyond amazing! I was gifted a copy because I had never read a book of Andrea Smith's and was told she was awesome. I got to see for myself in her first book in the G - Man series.It starts out with Samantha, a lonely, neglected housewife looking for a hobby after her daughter goes to college and her husband works all the time. After taking up kickboxing and then taking pole dancing classes Samantha finds herself working at a gentleman's club dancing. From there she meets bitter bad boy, Slater....and her life will never be the same.I absolutely fell in love with these characters. The plot twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. And this book was extremely hot!!This series is a must read!!! BOOK DESCRIPTION: Samantha is a 35 year old empty nester in an unfulfilling arriage. She takes up exercising, gets in incredible shape. The sex between the two is amazingly hot and sensual. But when secrets are revealed will this couple be able to stick it out or will they forever perish in the world of mistrust? Or will they rise above all the ashes created in the aftermath and become stronger as a couple in love?Jack is a shady husband that gets propelled into a world of the unknown and is on the proverbial run for his life. He seems to think the world revolves around him but when his world comes to a halt will this man run or will he stay and take what is due to him?To the author: This book has mystery, suspense, hot sex, intrigue and more. This amazing read had me from page 4 and didn’t let me go till the very last word was complete. You took this reviewer to another time and place where I was able to be submerged into another world that was compelling and a joy to read. I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it. Loved Slate and Sammie. Even though Slate's true identity isn't a surprise at all, I still enjoyed the entire story. Sammie who doesn't have her own identity because she got pregnant in high school, married the father two weeks later, and always only took care of the husband and daughter. Now that the daughter has gone away to college and the husband travels on business a lot, she finds that she needs to make a life for herself. She starts exercising and finds herself pole dancing at a local club. Enter Slate. sinfully gorgeous, biker prospect. There roller coaster romance ends in a HEA (thankfully). No cliffhanger. But, I look forward to reading this entire series!
