Unfortunately the audio may have really ruined the book for me. OMG. It was so obnoxious. I just could not handle listening to it. Unfortunately, I felt obligated to listen. So I finished it. The story was cute. Dopey, but cute. Maybe a three. Maybe. The main characters are two sisters who bicker back and forth but generally like each other. They find out that they are witches, but they're divorced mom has hidden this from them. This is when all heck breaks lose. Trying to keep their witch and non-witch lives separate becomes increasingly more difficult and just adds to the hijinks. No tragedies, no deaths or depression, just goofy love. Finished listening to this on the way home from work. I really like the girl who reads these. Rachel finally deals with telling her friends and family and Raf about her powers, Miri gets a boyfriend and the girls have a Samsorta (like a bar mitzvah for witches.) Not everyone react wonderfully but eventually everyone comes around, including Rachel herself. As in the previous books, some things are predictable but the books are so much fun that it isn't really an issue. This is the first volume where Rachel didn't do something so over the top that I got nervous. This one was more about Rachel's internal conflict.
