LINDA'S REVIEW - Amelia is a strong character who knows what she wants and it's not the life that has been planned out for her. She has the determination to change her life around and she's no victim.Destry is one hell of a cowboy who is sizzling hot but stubborn and scared of city girls. he's been broken before and doesn't think city girls and cowboys can survive together.The chemistry between Amelia and Destry is electric and undeniable. The sexual tension takes up so much of the book that there's a distinct feeling that they still know so little about each other .We get glimpses of Destrys past that have caused him to be so closed off and dismissive to begin with and we see glimpses of the life Amelia led which was perfect on the outside but so flawed in reality.Amelia and Destry are so focused on fighting what they both feel that they never really talk about their issues and their pasts. The conversation is always skimming the surface . They certainly have their bumps in the road and Destry's fear of being hurt and trust issues put a risk to the happiness that they both have finally found.This was a very easy book to read and I loved it.There are so many great ancillary characters that I can't wait to read about.And that epilogue wow I can't wait for Braxton's story. Amelia catches her fiance in the act of cheating on her with her sister. After telling them she hopes they're happy, she jumps in her Audi and leaves. Randomly selecting a destination on a map, she crashes her car when she tries to avoid a cow standing in the middle of the road. After taking her frustrations out on the cow, she spins around when she hears the sexy male voice. And he is hot! Destry can't believe he's out in the middle of night dealing with a cow and the hot little city girl, but he's drawn to her. Upon realizing he has no other choice, he offers to let her stay at his house until her car is repaired. When his brothers flirt with her, he sees red and quickly realizes he's falling for the little city girl. But she hasn't told him her secret and why she left home and it soon catches up with her. And Destry doesn't tolerate lies or secrets.I loved Destry. He's such a hot moody guy, but when he loves, he loves with all his heart. Melia is good for him and makes him happy for the first time in forever. Melia's family are horrible, and she loves the countryside much more than the city. The brothers are great and I can't wait to read their stories as well.This was a sweet and pretty fast story.
