And first on his list: Olivia in his bed—with or without a wedding.I am a big Victoria Alexander fan, but this was not one of my favorite books. The characters are likeable and are well developed, but the plot twists seem a bit forced. All in all, a pretty good yarn! Hero and heroine were separated by fateful circumstances 10 years ago and are now reunited in a joint quest which takes them to Egypt and Italy and back to London within a couple of months. Propinquity allows resolution of past misunderstandings and hurts and reignites the buried passions. Very interesting supporting characters allow the Early of Wyldewood's character and Lady Rathbourne's personalities to be more fully explored, in a very entertaining manner. Victoria Alexander is pretty creative and good at keeping the plot going.The romance obviously ends happily but the mystery is not totally solved, so I anticipate a sequel.
