The fool's girl narrates the story of a young girl name Violetta daughter of a duke of allyria who has been hiding along with her clown Feste from the people that were responsible of all the awful things that happened in her native country allyria. she arrived at London looking for help from master Shakespeare, but first Violetta and her clown Feste tried to get the attention of master Shakespeare by performing an act of balancing different objects in a plaza. This act caught the attention of a lot people specially Shakespeare's who later on asked them to join him from a drink. Violetta told Shakespeare part of the story, and why she was in London. Later on in the story a variety of situation happened which led Sheakespeare to contract Feste as a clown for one of his plays. violetta at the end was be able to accomplish her mission and return a precious relic Allyria and reunited with her love Stephano. This story is narrate it by different points of view for example, Violetta told the story about his mom and how she has arrived to Allyria and than Feste. every character told their own story one connected to the other character's story. Shakespeare was a big part of the story throughout the book the reader can have an inside look of what Shakespeare's life most has been like. This books was rich in vocabulary and with highly valuable quotes. One of my favorites quotes from the book was this one,'' no matter how near death we might be, we struggle to prevent our last breath from being taken from us.'' The reason why this is my favorite quote is because it has a truthful message to it.Celia Rees did such an amazing describing every character she described each of the characters with such an accuracy that you could picture each character in your mind perfectly. In conclusion, this book was an exquisite read I am looking forward to read more of Celia Rees' work. I had a lot of thoughts on The Fool's girl and initialy they were very good but now I think the end (which I'm not going to spoil for you) is a bit boring. It ended exactly the same way I thought it would end, but for all romance lovers, this is the best end there is.The story is about Violetta, a young girl with a noble background. She used to be royal. But now she is on the run because a mean Count has put his mind on her parents'title and eventualy on hers.To get her back on the throne she counts on her jester Feste and the help of William Shakespeare and his Lord Chamberlain Men.This novel has a lot of elements every young adult who loves historical fiction would very appreciate.

A very fun new interpretation of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Suspenseful and well written.
