3.75 stars. Nice start to a new series. Interesting world being created. Sometimes I found it a little hard to follow and would flip back to see if I had missed something. Just seemed a little disjointed a few times. Overall I enjoyed. I liked Tru and Casper. They had great chemistry. Although, thought Tru was indecisive at times, but I think that was more to show her age. Looking forward to reading next books in series. 3.5 stars. I liked this book, but a lot of it reeked of a Sons of Anarchy rip off. I don't mean that in a bad way, just that there were a lot of similarities. I liked the TV series so that's OK. I also liked the MC club meets doomsday preppers angle of the story. Tru kind of drive me crazy in that she seemed to not really understand what being a woman in this environment was all about. Casper was awesome -- badass and wicked smart, a lethal combination.
