This collection contains four books: Dark Powers, Chained, Hot and Dangerous, and Ambushed. The first book, Dark Powers, was decent. It was a good length and the plot had twist and turns which made for a good read. In fact, 70% of this collection is the first book. The other three books were very short and hard to get into. They were basically guy and girl get together; guy and girl have sex; story over. Very little plot or character development. I got the collection for free and the first book was a decent read, so it wasn't all bad, but I could have done without the other three books. Dark Powers was a great story because of Ben. I really liked him in Dark Moon and I was excited to see him work for Decorah Security. After Sage Arnold comes to the investigators to look for her missing sister Laurel, her and Ben head back to her old home town and that’s when the book really took off. While looking for Laurel Ben and Sage uncover other shady dealings in the town that puts their lives in jeopardy. I liked the relationship between Ben and Sage. There was some chemistry there, but I didn’t think their relationship really took off until something perilous really happened to them. I thought they worked great together as a team and I couldn’t wait to see how they would solve all the mysteries. It was an added bonus that Cole came to help! Chained was a great short story, and although I am not a huge fan of a ghost plot, it worked for this story. I only wish that the story was bit because I wanted more of Isabella and Matthew together! I liked the idea of her hiding from criminals and I was pleased that her father was still looking out for her. A bit of a stretch with the supernatural aspect but overall not bad! Hot and Dangerous and Ambushed were short but full of action! Both of these heroes and heroines meet quickly and are already falling in love! I really enjoyed these two because of the length.

My first borrow from Amazon Prime. A good fun book. As one of my friends would say good "fluff."
