I really liked this novella! I'm can't wait to get started on The Boy in the Band! N.J. Frost packed some story into this quick read and I am thirsty for more! We meet Sylvie and Blake who are both really crushed after Jamie's death. He was Sylvie's boyfriend and Blake's bandmate and best friend. Sylvie uses sex to except and Blake is recovering from a drug addiction. The are both in pain and looking for an escape from their pain. Blake sees Sylvie from afar but had made a promise to Jamie that he'd never go near her. Too bad he can't seem to convince his brain to agree with his heart. He can't stop thinking about her. I loved the N.J.'s writing and how the lyrics were so powerful. Blake’s is so torn with his desire for Sylvie but also his hate for her. I'm so anxious to see where their journey takes them. This is one you definitely want to add to your TBR if you haven't already. Really great!!! First off, I just wanted to say that I love this book cover! It's the first thing that caught my eye before I was sucked into the book. I love the plot of this story. It's interesting and very, very entertaining. There was no dull moments and the characters are awesome! I love that the book is in both Blake and Sylvie's POV. I love stories with multiple POV's because I like into the minds of both characters. Very good story! I recommend to everyone!
