Yet another amazing read, but not only that, it was inspiring. I'm a straight woman who strongly supports gay rights and I hate when people use God to say bad things against gays. I've always believed that if a God is out there and condemns one for falling in love then he is not a God worth believing in. Now I'm glad to say after reading this wonderful installment my mind, along with Kyle's, has been changed on the subject at hand. I have never heard some of these things either and it was shocking but I felt such a joy in this great knowledge. Thank you so much for teaching us something so valuable with such few pages!! My love for this series just keeps growing, I can't get enough! Wow, this is about the best and most concise explanation of "what the bible says about homosexuality" that I have ever read. I am going to recommend this to soooooo many people. John Goode is one of the best and my most favorite authors. Just wow.The reason I am blown away by this is I grew up a PK. That's pastors kid in evangelical speak. I had all of the same questions yet none of the answers growing up and all of the vitriol, hellfire and brimstone. I found a verse that saved me sanity, Romans 8:39 "neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." I clung to this verse and for whatever reason, all the crap thrown at me just rolled off my back. As an adult, research helped it explain it all and I've been able to reconcile my religion and my sexuality just fine.Every kid who's religion is beating them up about being gay should read this!
