I found this book just a little too freaky to actually give a rating to, because Geoff Rodkey seems to have *exactly* the same writing style as me. Seriously. Just about every sentence is exactly the way I would have written it. By the end, I was starting to wonder if I was Rodkey. So, yeah, I'm not sure I can give a neutral rating for this one.On the other hand, you know, pirates! Adventure! The Chronicles of Egg: Deadwearth and Sunrise #1 by Geoff Rodkey. This book draws you in, with its amazing beginning. The way he writes about Egbert’s family and past, just amazingly draws you in. And the plot was awesome. You can tell he planed it out very carefully. I finished the book in three days. I just couldn’t put it down. I know I say that a lot, but its true! That is how you know you are reading a good book. The characters were so realistic. It’s like I could hear the characters voices in my head, as I turned page after page. There was never a time when the characters were out of character. He did a very good job with them. But this is a series. I think this book is so well written, the way he formed the words, the story, characters, and the plot. I loved it! And I think you will too!I give this book an 9.
