I enjoy a good medical drama, and this one certainly fit the bill. I loved the relationship between Jack and Riley, and it was great to see him slowly gain her trust. While there were ups and downs in this relationship, I thought they were handled realisticly. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the the character Kate (Riley's friend). It seems the next book in the series focuses on Kate, so I hope there's a third with a different character. First, this is the first medical Christian romance I have ever read and all I can say is, where have you been Candace??? Really, where have I been. But not to fear I am going to catch up quickly with Candace's books. I was fortunate to discover this book on Amazon top 100 free Kindle e-books and oh so glad that I did! Riley is the sweetest character and I am awed by her courage. She has faced such tragedy even to the extent of physical impairment and she preservers (not without facing hard times). Jack too has had tragedy strike in his life. One is a believer and one is not, who is and who isn't ??? Hmmm. Also, can the believer bring the other to Christ and deliver the ultimate gift of God's love??? Quick, go get this book!Candace thank you for not only a romantic sweet story based on Christ but also I have fallen in love with San Antonio, Texas again! Guys, if you've never been to San Antonio you are missing out but don't worry Candace takes you there with the setting of this story. There is even some romance on the River Walk, heehee My husband is puzzled when I ran up to him after reading this story with an urgency, "We HAVE to go to San Antonio!" He responded with, "Uh, okay." I'm still waiting by the way. :)Candace is the sweetest lady you guys! I tweeted her and she responded back! How cool is that! When an author takes the time to respond to their fans, they go way up in my book! They care actually care about us and what we have to say. Well, I have nothing but praises for this sweet lady and Trauma Plan!
