About book Dödens Smekning (2011)

This book was creepy but with a very realistic scenario. It was something that hit home as well, since I live in Nashville, and have family in Italy. The only issue I had with the entire book was the main female character, although somewhat strong, is a tease who likes to flirt with the male characters. She is a good boss, and likes to mentor younger police, but has commitment issues and is easily flattered. The police procedure is important to the story, but not so overly done that it bogs down the narrative. It was a well told story that I highly recommend! At least a few things seemed far-fetched, but still not a bad read. Reading them out of order as usual, and in this one, Taylor's lost her LT ranking and has been busted back to detective and has a new young partner and her team is scattered. This one deals with what appears to be starved young girls with strange circles imprinted on their backs. Worse, this appears to be the work of a serial killer who was operating out of Europe and is now working in the US. Or is it?
