About book Daugthers In My Kingdom (2000)

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It made me grateful and excited to be a member of the Relief Society which I learned is the oldest women's organization in the world. "In the first meeting of the Relief Society, Sister Emma Smith said, 'We are going to do something extraordinary.'" And this book made me want to do more to contribute to the extraordinary things that Relief Society sisters do on a daily basis. It sounds boring, like you automatically shut down when you hear the word history. But I loved it because it really solidified for me that Relief Society is how Christ would organize us if he were here as a force for good, serving, helping & uplifting. When Christ was on the earth, there were many who wanted to follow him & he organized His church from all his followers. Women were a part of that, too.I loved hearing all the cool things RS sisters have done in modern days. I think everyone should read this book. Men included.
