It's also done by looking at a human-level view, from communities to individuals, which makes it clear that this is not a simple bad-guys-versus-good-guys situation, but a much larger economic and social trend.Well worth reading for anyone into science, economics, or eating things that won't kill you. Duh. Salt, sugar and fat are bad for me. And I like them. And I know I should eat less of them. And I know that food companies want to exploit my desire for salt/sugar/fat to make a profit. They are good at it. And I like eating lots of the things they've dreamed up. Is any of this a surprise to anybody? I thought this book was kind of tedious. The title says it all. And it was no surprise. I got bored. And ate some processed food from my pantry.
