I actually really liked it- and surprised myself because of it.It had a nice plot that didn't delve into much of the same typical YA plots and even though it sort of did the author made it a bit more unique with the hotel idea and the little touches of Al Capone and San Francisco (I really wish she would've delved a bit more into that are and type of fantasy mystery- that would have been a really cool plot idea I think) but it was entertaining. And while it's not my favorite book it was the kind of book that just jumped all up in your face with its flaws and annoying characters- no, it kept its cliche-ness to a minimum and mildly was pretty good. Awesome. Good concept. Although I could tell it would be an angels vs. demons thing from when they said the vault featured a different sin each night that the outfit and co were some sort of demon spawn. Haven was cute, a bit of a spit fire too which I liked. Dante was adorable. Lance wicked cute. Found some of the names to be funny. Haven - off shoot of heaven and also just a generally good place. Dante - the name of the author of the book about heaven, hell, and purgatory. Lucian - an off shoot of Lucifer, a name for the devil (and of the cat in Disney's Cinderella). Not sure about Aurelia, it doesn't seem to have any relation. (From the future: Aurelia comes from the latin word that means gold. Not sure of connections since it has been a while since I read this.) I was wondering why there wasn't a Beatrice there though. Lovely. Can't wait for the next book.
Do You like book Das Dunkel Der Seele (2013)?
I found this book really boring at the start, it only started to get interesting in the middle.
