Keenan stepping down needed to have happened in book one. That whole frickin' quadrangle was drawn out past necessity and the series as a whole would have been a lot more enjoyable if it had been dealt with early on. I think I might have actually enjoyed reading these books without it, and the books featuring characters other than the Summer/Winter courts were my favorite ones. It made for an interesting dilemma for a while, but it should have ended four books ago. Other than that, the story was fine. Would have liked to have seen Sorcha again after Banana was defeated, but. I'm glad I'm done reading this series. This book was better than the last. I feel I can't review too much without spoilers. At least Keenan stopped being a douche. Aislinn completed sentences, and the were HEA's for all. It was repetitive a lot, but once the action started, that redundancy lessened. I do have to say, though, that it felt like a PG-13 Disney movie by the end. I mean, the tied up plot line happiness. Not horrible, but a bit trite.
