If you want to read something that is repetitive to the point of making you want to burn the book and gouge out your eyes this is the book for you! I never want to hear or read great chunk of flesh or lifemate ever again! If they would have taken out all the repetitive crap the book would have only been about 80 pages. So sad to see this author deteriorate to the point of having to repeat everything at least 20 to 30 times. Ugh, okay I don't know if Ms. Feehan is finally getting tired of this series but I sure am. This series have finally lost its spunk for me. This was boring and repetitive. Hated Fen but kind if liked Tat although at times she turned likable. The sex scenes are the worst now. Before I enjoyed reading them, but now I just skim over it. Sigh.....but alas 24 books in I can't stop now. I need to finish this series. The Carpathian language though? I'm sick of it. Hard as hell to pronounce and the appendage at the beginning takes up like 30 pages of the damn book, then we have the end with the healing chant and lullaby and stuff. Ugh. But you know what? I was with her from the beginning. With Ms. Feehan I wouldn't know Paranormals existed, so I'm sticking to it. Next is FINALLY SKYLAR AND DIMITRI's story. That is ALL I wanted. After 20+ yrs I hope it's all I thought it would be.
Felt a little long and dull. Not bad but not really great either. Just Meh.
