I received the book Cryonics, A Zombie Novel, by Travis Bradberry from Goodreads First Reads,free.This novel is the best book that I've read so far this year! Wow! If you are looking for an EXCELLENT blend of horror & sci fi, then THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!! What a truly terrifyingly realistic story this turned out to be! I now have an insatiable appetite to devour anything ever written by Travis Bradberry. I actually really liked this book. One od the things I liked was it actually gives a reason that the zombies came about. Royce chose to be frozen at death. One minute he is flying home with his son and the next thing he knows is he wakes up after forty years. The Chinese have taken over half of the United States and fighting to gain control of the other half. It seems they have found a way to unfreeze the people, they are doing this to make more soldiers for their fight. What happens is something they are not prepared for. 3 of the 4 who were brought back become zombies and all hell breaks loose. Royce starts going to help the U.S. and inform them of what is coming for them.
