About book Crezco (2011)

I read this book after hearing from a friend that it was really good. Although, immediately I noticed how much cross-over there was between this book and 'Submarine' - Joe Dunthorne. I did, however, think think that this book was really well written. I particularly enjoyed the descriptive language, it is a very poetic book with some really impressive quotes.I feel that if the plot line was a little more varied, I probably would have enjoyed it more. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it much more if I hadn't already read Submarine and been constantly comparing it throughout though! This book have got to be one of my all-time-favourite book. It have everything to do with growing up, from sex to drugs to alcohol and life. And I can actually relate to the protagonist based on the line 'I lack motivation, talent and charm.'I must say I'm quite envious of Brooks to write this book at a young age and make it a success. The most successful thing I've done so far is cooked eggs without making the microwave explode.

Do You like book Crezco (2011)?

This book wasn't really my cup of tea to be honest. Well written, but I personally didn't enjoy it.

Quick and easy to read, funny and surprisingly insightful. Would've loved this when I was 17.

It felt a little like The Perks of Being a Wallflower without the emotional climax.
