Another sweet LHNB addition. 3.5*I love men in kilts, I mean seriously it's sexy, so when I saw the picture to this one, a kilt and a kiss, how could I resist? Alistair and Kirk have a Scottish heritage and being gay in common, but not much else.I liked the slow development in the beginning of the story, which made it feel longer and more fleshed out than it actually was, the ending was a bit rushed but still left me happy an smiling.I didn't quite understand Kirk's need to cut off all ties, but then young men starting a new chapter in their lives might do that. I'm glad for fate or happenstance helping them along. Men in kilts, what's not to love! The story of two young men from different backgrounds, met at a Scottish Festival then soon develop a love affair and 'first time' together. They split up to incidentally met again six years later, thus renew the relationship which ended up in matrimony. Both characters were too realistic in handling what life's thrown their way. (I'm not sure I'd be as forgive and forget as Alistair's being cut out so severely from his lover.) But in a way, the no drama feel was just fit in so well in this.
Do You like book Creeling The Bridegroom (2013)?
I really loved the story and it wirked great with the picture prompt.
