ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not familiar with this series prior to reading this novella so I was a little lost. The beginning was a little boring because of the lengthy home description. Perhaps if I was more familiar with Hayden's character I could appreciate the details. I like the alternating point of views. When I was getting into Sarah and Chris's story, it ended. I guess that the point of this novella, to leave you wanting to read more. The Clipped Wings exert was well written. I did feel more involved with Hayden and Tenley's characters. The Cracks in the Armor novella was ok, and I probably wouldn't look into purchasing the first book if I hadn't read more of Hayden and Tenley's story. Great addition to a great series! I will stop everything and read from the Clipped Wings series. I loved this look into Chris' story since I can't wait for him to get his own HEA. This is a quick novella and it just makes me want to see how everything works out for Chris and Sarah. I really enjoy the writing style and the fantastic characters in this series.
