Romance and paranormal activities intermingle as the death toll rises. Abby Radwell has always been an outcast, her paranormal talents are unique and her family rather ignore her than accept her gifts. Sam Coppersmith has always had paranormal talent but upon meeting Abby, he has met his match. Together they learn the truth about a ponzi sceme, a paranormal journal and the lengths one man will go to get his hands on paranormal crystals. And, her family finally understand who Abby Radwell truly is. I enjoyed reading this book. I have always enjoyed reading Jayne Ann Krentz's books, no matter what name she goes under. It is a paranormal mystery with the paranormal powers in crystals and books. It is also a delightful love story between Sam and Abby. The best part of the book for me takes place on Sam's remote island. His family has their own island. Sam has a unique laboratory in the basement of his house. Some people believe that Sam killed his ex-fiancee but the islanders believe in him. They believe that he's too smart to have killed someone and then left obvious clues to himself.A party is given by Sam's family on the island but of course, it's not a simple party.

A nice little story but not exciting enough to get me reaching for the next one.

Fairly ordinary for a book on the paranormal.
