This is a quirky and enjoyable read. I love the characters, I love how relating to Josie isn't hard but for Josie relating to others is. That explains the title; the protagonist is a socially awkward girl who has an incredibly above average intellegence, so she finds it hard to relate to others and communicate well. But there's something so loveable about her character that you wish you were her friend. Like, she's great. There are some beautiful quotes and some beautiful scenes; also some heartbreaking ones. When Josie's sister Kate was being totally unfair, I was crying. When the book came to an end, I breathed a sigh of relief. Not because it was over, but because I knew the book had ended on a good note and that nothing bad would ever come of Stu and Josie. And we've got to Stu; the friend. Only ever the friend. There's one moment where Josie is at her sister's wedding, and Stu didn't go, and as she's walking passed where he would've sat, she puts down his name-thing and it's so heartbreakingly beautiful and you just need to read it. Honestly. Honestly honestly honestly, read it. Go. Go and read it.I'm very much looking forward to reading some more books by Erin McCahan, AND YOU SHOULD TOO!

I so LOVE this book! Just please don't show it on the big screen. It'll ruin the magic of this book.
