Because I love President Thomas S. Monson, I loved his stories in this book. I had read or heard many of these stories before, and enjoyed reading them again. These experiences were some I could relate to, or could use in my everyday life when I am discouraged or need help. One thing that really made this book special were the illustrations and script words that introduced each story. They were beautifully done and added to the meaning of the writing. My first thought when I opened the mailing envelope, This is a gorgeous book. I soon found the beauty of the book is on the inside. The stories touched me deeply and made me want to go and do good as President Monson has done throughout his life. I sat down to read a couple of stories before bed and found myself reading a dozen. Anyone who reads this book will be touched by these accounts of a prophet of God loving and teaching.
