This the sequel to Sophie Morgan's, Dairy of a Submissive so check that one out first before you read this book. Morgan has written an epic follow up and lets us into her life like never before. I must warn potential readers that this book has heavy BDSM content which is written explicitly and it has very intense real life scenes which aren't sugarcoated like most erotic books.Morgan begins the book after her break up with James, her previous dominant. Now, she professes that she doesn't want to be with anyone just yet until her two friends Thomas and Charlotte drag her to diner with a mysterious stranger, Adam. Once the diner is over, Adam manages to track Sophie down Facebook explaining that it was one of Charlottes ploys to get her friends together. Their relationship becomes one of friendship with a few sexual comments passed between them until Sophie and Adam finally get together. Now, I actually really like Adam. He comes across as a really amazing person who has a wicked sense of humour and definitely knows his way around the bedroom. Their sexual relationship is filled with more mental torture that physical unlike the last two dominants she has had. Sophie has always been the best character in the book in my opinion just because she isn't the stereotypical submissive. She doesn't let men control her life and she still has control over some aspects in the bedroom. She speaks up and challenges some of his requests. I have already mentioned that this is technically a non-fiction book but it doesn't give instructions if that is what you are thinking. It gives you a clear description of what real BDSM entails which normal romance novels do not do. It is definitely not for the faint hearted which is what makes it such an interesting and awesome read. I highly recommend this for all BDSM lovers and people who want to know more about it. I also recommend it for anybody who really thinks that BDSM is all about contracts and food management because it just isn't.
