This is my first in romantic suspense and now I'm hooked! I loved this book, it kept me wanting more! I am now a Rachel Grant fan and will be reading the next book in this series! I love the fact that she uses actual history in her fiction books. If you are not sure about reading a romance/suspense book, take my word for it, this one will NOT disappoint. This book is not your typical romance novel. It's so much more...a page turner Why is it that the steamy sex in books isn't between two normal people rather than an Adonis and a Venus? This book had an interesting plot, somewhat loosely based on true events, but in my opinion was cluttered with very descriptive sex encounters that got in the way of the story. And it's hard for me to wonder how the attraction developed so quickly, given how deceptive both Erica and Lee were with each other. I sure would have enjoyed the novel with a different relationship and a lot less groping.
