Do You like book Cómo Enamorarte (2013)?
I rather devoured this book. I found it touching, and funny, and very readable. I go back and forth on how much I "like" it, though, as I found the basic premise both attractive and repulsive. The issue of suicide, and depression, is the plot vehicle here, which, in terms of its use as a romance plot device, comes off as rather facile. Be happier! Enjoy life more! Don't commit suicide! People who struggle with real mental health issues will recognize these as kind of juvenile takes on a very serious process, and some readers might find this offensive - especially those who have had these same platitudes shoved at them over and over again. So, I'm torn - very entertaining, but how do I feel about being entertained by this subject matter? I really don't know. Hence, no star rating for this one, at least for now. In terms of entertainment, it's about a 4; in terms of everything else... I have no idea.

Lovely lovely book! I really like Ahern's books, and this wasn't an exception. It's about a man who wants to kill himself and a woman who wants to rescue him and show him how to enjoy life and get his girlfriend back. The woman is not too well herself either and it turns out to be a learning experience for her too. Warm and wise book - and I might try these things myself too. Really recommend to those who love romance in good books.

Beautifully moving. Cecelia really is such a gifted writer. This was one book I did not want to end.
