We finally get to see what happens with Clark and Stevie. I have to say it was a bit disappointing as we only got up to the point where he told her he would stay and wait for her. Not the finaly proposal and "yes". Oh well, good story and we get to see them with their kids. We also find out how Alex's mother is returned to the fold, so to speak.And as always, we get to see our favorite Alex and Jared in friend mode, not as the mc's.Recommended for the continuity and for Clark's kids :) I just had the most wonderful visit with Alex and Jared, Stevie and Clark. It truly was like taking the time to talk to old friends. I'm so glad I finally read this story! Clark has loved Stevie for years but her continued rejection of him when she returns from her time in a center for treatment of the emotional and physical trauma she suffered at the hands of her mother is taking its toll. Clark may be finally ready to move on and, in doing so, not only alienates Stevie, but Alex as well. Thankfully, he decides that she's worth the wait and we do get to see what happens when she decides that he's really the man she wants and she'll work to do whatever she needs to have him. We already know the couple is together right at the beginning of the story since it opens with both of them getting themselves and their children ready to go to Alex and Jared's house for Thanksgiving. Most of their story is then told in flashback. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful this series is. There is no explicit sex in any of the books but there is love, a huge amount of love, not only romantic love, but brotherly love, and parental love. I highly recommend this book and this series to all.
